Roland Rangers golf team eighth at State Preview

AFTON — The Roland Rangers were eighth at the Class 3A State Preview, which took place last Thursday at The Coves Golf Club on the banks of Grand Lake. They had a team score of 359.

Brady Edmondson was among the top 10 medalists as he was eighth with an 81.

As for other Rangers, Kylan White was 33rd with an 88, Kade Shook was 46th with a 94, Avery Moya was 54 with a 96 and Keegan Knapp was 90th with a 108. As an individual, Hunter Burris was 91st as he was a shot behind Knapp with a 109.

The Rangers will begin postseason play at the Class 3A Regional Tournament on Monday at Muskogee Golf Club, should they qualify. They were slated to find out if any individuals or the whole team qualified for regionals on Monday.
