CATOOSA — The Muldrow High School track teams competed at last Thursday’s Port City Classic, where the Bulldogs were eighth with 34 points, while the Lady Bulldogs were 13th with 12 points.
For the ’Dogs, Teaguan Collins won the 400-meter dash (49.77 seconds) and the long jump (20-4), tied for first in the high jump (58) and was runner-up in the 100-meter dash (11.65).
For the Lady Bulldogs, Lilah-Grace Willsey broke her own school record in the 100-meter hurdles as she was second with a time of 17.63 seconds, while Emma Fields was fourth in the 3,200-meter run (13:58.21).
As for other Bulldogs, Zaylenny Williams was seventh in the long jump (18-1) and 15th in the high jump (5-0), Brayden Roe was 16th in the shot put (386.75), Gabe Smalley was 16th (12.21 seconds) and Williams was 28th (12.79) in the 100-meter dash, Smalley was 22nd (25.82) and Williams was 28th (26.54) in the 200-meter dash and Linux Pigg was 35th in the 400-meter dash (1:01.32).
As for other Lady Bulldogs, Willsey was seventh ion the 300-meter hurdles (55.72 seconds), Genna Stephenson was eighth in the 3,200-meter run (15:18.01), Willsey was ninth (14-1) and Tiphany Martinez and Adysen Beller tied for 13th (10-10) in the long jump, Fields was 13th (6:48.15) and Stephenson was 14th (6:50.28) in the 1,600-meter run, Martinez was 15th in the 800-meter run (2:49.74) and Beller was 32nd in both the 200-meter run (33.22) and the 100-meter hurdles (15.98).
The Muldrow teams will be joined by the Sallisaw squads to end the regular season at the Inola Invitational, which will begin 9 a.m. Friday.
