Dec. 18, 1952 — April 10, 2026

Funeral services for Jonnie Kay (Richardson) Jones, 73, of Muldrow, were held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 17, 2026, at Agent Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.

Burial followed at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Services, Inc.

Mrs. Jones was born on Dec. 18, 1952, in Sallisaw, to Fred and Betty Ann (Marrs) Richardson. She passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026, at her home.

She married Charles Jones on Dec. 29, 1978, in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death in 2012.

She loved to plant flowers, garden, cookouts, arts and crafts, dining out, watch The Young and the Restless, and spend time with family and friends. She was a longtime employee of Walmart and also ran Thunder Rally Skateway in Sallisaw.

Survivors include a son, Billy Jones and Sherry of Spiro; daughter, Jennifer Jones-Ruark and James of Muldrow; brother, Chuck Richardson and Karen of Sallisaw; five grandchildren; one great granddaughter, and other family and friends.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Janet Miller; and grandparents.

Pallbearers were James Ruark, Billy Jones, Ed Marrs, Scott Ostrander, Wesley Burke and Mark Reed.

Honorary pallbearers were Ronnie Hemphill, Ralph Pratt, Chuck Richardson and Dick Miller.
