Laurie Ellen Coughlin Hendrix

Jan. 27, 1958 — April 11, 2026

Memorial services for Laurie Ellen (Coughlin) Hendrix, 68, of Sallisaw, will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2026, at Forever Memories Funeral Services.

Mrs. Hendrix was born on Jan. 27, 1958, in Placentia, Calif., to Edward and Nancy (Biegle) Coughlin. She passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026, in Fort Smith, Ark.

She worked as a respiratory therapist for over 30 years. She enjoyed being outdoors, around horses, boating, and spending time with family.

Survivors include one daughter, Johanna Champany of Sallisaw; one son, Matthew and Christine Champany of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; siblings, Denny Coughlin, Kenny Coughlin and Johnny Coughlin; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Barbara Coughlin.

A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, May 8, at Forever Memories Funeral Services.
