The Friends of the Muldrow Public will hold their annual plant sale fundraiser, April 17-18, in front of the Muldrow Public Library.
A wide variety and sizes of plants will be available with the proceeds of the sale benefiting the library. The sale begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Flowering baskets, ferns, pumpkin plants, and plants for flower beds will be available for sale.
“Each year the Friends of the Muldrow Public Library hosts a plant sale to raise money for the library. Our library is an integral part of our community providing workshops, story time and summer reading programs for all ages,” President Renee Claborn of the Friends group said.
“Our group helps provide much-needed funding for these and other events. All proceeds from our plant sale will go to the library to support these programs throughout the year. If you would like to support the library, you can do so by purchasing something lovely for your garden,” she added.
The Muldrow Public Library is a branch of the Eastern Oklahoma Library System located at 711 W. Shawntel Blvd in Muldrow.
