A memorial service for Cleonis Dean Jr., 39, was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Greater New Bethel Baptist Church in Sallisaw, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mr. Dean was born on Dec. 17, 1986, in Sallisaw, to Cleonis Dean Sr. and Patsy Roberts. He passed away on Sat., April 4, 2026.
He was a graduate of Central High School and of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed singing, fishing, playing sports, sharing God’s truth, and spending time with family.
Survivors include his wife, Helenia Dean; three sons, Issiah, Joseph and King, all of Oklahoma; mother, Patsy Roberts (Tommy Gibbs) of Sallisaw; father, Cleonis Dean, Sr of Rayville, La.; grandmother, Minerva Roberts of Sallisaw; siblings, Larry Williams of Rayville, Dustin Taylor of Las Vegas, Robbie Foreman of Vian and Jackelia Sanders of Fort Smith, Ark.; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandpa, JC Roberts; brother, Bobbie Foreman; and daughter, Zariah Dean.
