The Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma recently awarded grants for 2026 to 11 Area Agencies on Aging across the state. The awards were announced at the December Oklahoma Association of Area Agencies on Aging meeting in Shawnee.
This marks the 19th consecutive year Oklahoma’s Area Agencies on Aging has received this funding.
The grants support the Masonic Assistance Program, which helps seniors age 55 and older with financial needs not covered by other resources. Assistance may include help paying for eyeglasses, dentures, minor home repairs, wheelchair ramps and other ADA-related home modifications that allow seniors to remain safely in their homes. Assistance is limited and may be available for needs not covered by other programs.
Applications are available beginning January 20 at Eastern Oklahoma Development District (EODD) Area Agency on Aging, 1012 N. 38 Street in Muskogee, local libraries, senior nutrition sites and online at eoddok.org. There is also a QR Code for easy access.
