Cherokee Nation (CN) Public Health nurses will be at the Sallie Byrd Sevenstar Community Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, offering the following services:

• Free HPV vaccine, Narcan, A1C check, blood pressure check, etc. CN Public Health Educator Dakota Perry will present an HPV presentation from 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

• CN Public Health Educator Isaac Barnoskie will show how he makes blow guns (with visitor participation) at 12 p.m., talk about the cultural significance of blowguns, and demonstrate safe blowgun use. Participants will get the opportunity to use a blowgun to shoot at foam targets.

This will also provide an excellent time to discuss lung cancer and respiratory health as well.

This event is free to everyone. The community center is located at 474894, Hwy.101, Muldrow.
