Funeral service for Bruce Wayne Hoover, 57, of Muldrow, was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow.

Mr. Hoover was born on Sept. 30, 1968, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Henry Ronald and Helen Marie (Parker) Hoover. He passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026, in Ely, Nev.

He worked as a driller on a drilling rig and was an avid hunter. He enjoyed working with his horses and land, and spending time with his dogs.

Survivors include his parents; two daughters, Ashley Hoover-Lopez and Kaleigh and Eric Herzberg; five grandchildren; three brothers, Bryon and Malinda Hoover, Larry and Rena Hoover and Lonnie and Thelma Hoover; one sister, Lisa Cowan-Stringer; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Maudie Hoover and Otis and Lucille Parker.

Pallbearers were Byron Hoover, Lonnie Hoover, Larry Hoover, Dakota Hoover, Ronnie Hoover and Eric Herzberg.

Honorary pallbearers were Bruce Rowe, Justiss Rowe, Bret (Cale) Vastine, Sheldon Sanders and Tyler Hoover.
