Dobson Fiber commits to fiber internet expansion in Muldrow

Dobson Fiber announced another multi-million-dollar expansion of its fiber internet offering with a groundbreaking in Muldrow on Jan. 8, with city and chamber officials.

“Dobson Fiber has been serving Oklahomans since 1936, and we’re thrilled to bring Muldrow the most advanced fiber network and the fastest residential speeds available in the nation,” Dobson Fiber’s Chief Operations Officer Conley Bone said. “Our initial network build is engineered to deliver speeds up to 10 gigabits per second, and within the next five years, this same infrastructure will support speeds up to 100 gigabits. We remain fully committed to providing innovative products and cutting-edge technology to residents and businesses here.”

“We’re delighted by the overwhelming support from our customers this year and are excited to extend Dobson Fiber’s presence to the majority of homes in Muldrow. This expansion also has a large impact on local businesses with faster and more reliable connectivity to fuel their growth,” Dobson Fiber’s Chief Strategy Officer Jim Horsburgh said.

Dobson’s website allows you to input your address and get notified if your address is on their fiber build-out plan at dobson.net.

If you register your address and contact information online, they will reach out when your address is ready for installation.

Today, Dobson Fiber’s network includes more than 47 communities across a wide geographic area in Oklahoma and five diverse communities in Arkansas and continues its mission of delivering broadband solutions to both rural and urban communities alike.

Dobson Fiber’s commitment to enhancing connections and delivering unparalleled internet speeds of up to 10 GIG to residents and 100 GIG to businesses with the lowest latency in their footprint by leveraging Dobson’s highcapacity optical middlemile network with the best peering in the area.
