Applications now open for 76th annual Oklahoma Highway Patrol Academy

Applications are now open and being accepted for the upcoming Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP)’s 76th Academy. Those interested can apply between now and March 31.

The academy will start on Sept. 14 where attendees will fight for a challenge not everyone can accomplish.

Starting gross salary (first year):

• Traditional Applicants (no prior LEO experience): During Academy $56,562.79 + $1,200 Uniform Allowance After 12-month probation – $66,638.15 (including shift differential and uniform allowance)

• Lateral Officers (prior LEO experience): During Academy $67,899.62 + $1,200 Uniform Allowance After 12-month probation – $74,192.92 (including shift differential and uniform allowance) Apply today and join the elite ranks of the OHP.
