Veteran prosecutor Will Cosner has announced his campaign for District Judge serving Adair and Sequoyah Counties in Oklahoma’s 15th Judicial District.
With more than a decade of courtroom experience in both state and federal courts, Cosner has built a reputation as a tough, fair prosecutor who stands up for victims, defends Oklahoma values, and upholds the rule of law.
“Justice isn’t about politics — it’s about right and wrong,” Cosner said. “I’ve spent my career fighting for victims, protecting our communities, and standing for the Constitution. I’ll bring that same courage and common sense to the bench.”
Cosner serves as a Chief Deputy Prosecutor in Crawford county Arkansas and previously worked as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Oklahoma and an Assistant District Attorney for Adair, Cherokee, Sequoyah, and Wagoner Counties.
Over his career, he has prosecuted hundreds of cases — including major felonies and murder trials — earning the respect of law enforcement and recognition as Sequoyah County’s Prosecutor of the Year.
A lifelong resident of Oklahoma, Cosner was raised on his family’s farm and ranch in Sequoyah County. He and his wife, Catherine, are raising three children with the same values he grew up with—faith in God, love of family, and respect for the law.
He is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and Oklahoma City University School of Law and is a lifelong member of the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association, NRA, and Farm Bureau.
“The people of Adair and Sequoyah Counties deserve a judge who will uphold the Constitution, stand firm for victims and support law enforcement,” Cosner said. “That’s exactly the kind of judge I’ll be — firm, fair, and faithful to the law.”
