Roland Rangers see eight football players honored by District 2AI-3

The Roland Rangers football team saw eight players get honored by District 2AI-3 by grabbing spots on this season’s all-district team.

Three players were awarded with specialty honors as Paul Johnson was named the Athlete of the Year, John Allen was named the Defensive Tackle of the Year and Cason Perryman was named the Outside Linebacker of the Year.

Two other Rangers were named to the firstteam all-district — linebacker Alex Brant and cornerback Uriah Phillips.

Cornerback Trevor Lasiter, linebacker Caden Davidson and defensive lineman Talen Reese were honorable mention all-district.

The Rangers finished the 2025 season with a record of 2-8 and were 2-5 in district play.
