Copelands to celebrate 55th wedding anniversary

Carrol and Linda Copeland of Sallisaw will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary on October 23.

The couple was married on Oct. 23, 1970, by Rev. Herman Arnett at the home of the bride’s family. Carrol is a retired newspaper photographer and Linda is a retired newspaper reporter and photographer.

The couple has two children, Greg Copeland and Karen (Copeland) Hurlbut.
