Indian Capital Technology Center (ICTC) was honored with the Oklahoma Association of Technology Centers’ (OATC) Gold Star School Award at the 2025 Oklahoma Summit Awards Ceremony, recognizing excellence among the state’s technology center districts.
The Gold Star School Award program acknowledges technology centers that meet rigorous standards of excellence in multiple areas, including Educational Institution Standards, Student Services, Communications and Marketing, Sending School Relationships, Professional Activities, Business and Industry Services, and Special Initiatives.

This marks the 14th time ICTC has earned the Gold Star School Award.
“I’m so proud of our team! The Gold Star School Award is just one of the achievements that shows the many outstanding things our faculty and staff do in meeting the needs of our students and business and industry clients throughout the Indian Capital district,” ICTC Superintendent Tony Pivec said.
“On behalf of the Board of Education, I want to congratulate the ICTC team for a job well done. They deserve this recognition for all their hard work, and we are very proud of them,” ICTC Board of Education President Darrell Russell added, ICTC serves students and businesses across its district through career training, industry partnerships, and community education. By combining cutting-edge instruction with realworld applications, ICTC continues to strengthen the workforce and economic growth of the region.
