A viewing was held for Edith Marline Brown, 75, of Sallisaw, from 12 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2025, in the Sequoyah Memorial Chapel of Forever Memories Funeral Services, Inc. of Sallisaw.

Mrs. Brown was born on Dec. 4, 1949, to John Raymond and Mildred Sanders. She passed away on Friday, Aug. 1, 2025, in Sallisaw.

She enjoyed country music, cooking, watching cooking shows, going to the casino, and hunting for treasures at yard sales.

Survivors are a daughter, Tammy Brown; sisters, Lahoma Jones and husband Randy and Patricia Brown; brothers, Dale Sanders and Bobby Sanders; grandchildren and great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, A.J. Brown; daughter, Kathy Jennings; brothers, Sheryll, Loye and Jimmy Sanders; sister, Gaylene Hines; niece, Amber Mills; and nephews, Joey Thomas Hines and Jessie Sanders.
