Funeral services for Eloise Harkreader Snow, 92, of Sallisaw, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial followed at Akins Cemetery in Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mrs. Snow was born on Sept. 2, 1932, in the Akins/Sallisaw area, to Jess and Lena (Howell) Harkreader. She passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025, in Tulsa.
She was a 1951 graduate of Sallisaw High School and worked at Shell Oil Company and various other jobs, including a local greenhouse and small electronic plants working the assembly line. She enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, plants and flowers.
She married Thurman Snow on Aug. 28, 1953. He precedes her in death.
Survivors are a daughter, Sherry Snow of the home; two brothers, Ronnie Harkreader and Karen of Atwater, Calif., and Tommy Harkreader and Susan of Coweta; six grandchildren;11 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Lena Harkreader; daughter, Janice Shaw; two sisters, Jewell Bradley and Maxine Eagle; and two brothers, Dobe (George) Harkreader and Bob Harkreader.
