Cindy Young, 69, of Sallisaw, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025, in Sallisaw. She was born on Dec. 17, 1955, in Merced, Calif., to Deloris (Reece) Cox and Homer Edward Cox.
No formal service is planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
She was a former care provider and of the Assembly of God faith.
Survivors include two sons, Jason Spicer of Muldrow and Michael Young of Oklahoma City; four sisters, Brenda and Junior Holland of Greenwood, Ark., Crystal Sullivan of Muldrow, Lisa and Howard Johnson of Lavaca, Ark., and Angel Pulliam of Tulsa; two grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jack Cox; and sister, Barbara Thornburg.
