Funeral services for David Wayne Reves, 74, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at the Agent Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.

Burial was at Akins Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory- Martin Funeral Home.

Mr. Reves was born on Dec. 19, 1950, in San Diego, Calif. to Bobby O’Neal Reves and Edna Earl (Slater) Reves. He died on Monday, June 30, 2025, in Fort Smith, Ark.

He worked in nondestructive testing with x-rays and ultrasound and was of the Church of Christ faith.

He married Jeanie Loraine Reves on Dec. 5, 1998, in Vian. She preceded him in death on March 12, 2016.

Survivors include two daughters, Rebecca Marsh and Tracy Tang; his mother, of Sallisaw; one sister, Charlotte Reves of Spokane, Wash.; three grandchildren; and other family members and friends.

He was also preceded in death by his father.
