Surrounded by generations of loved ones, Bonnie Rogers of Muldrow celebrated her 90th birthday with a beautiful gathering on Saturday, April 19. The event was hosted at the home of her daughter Cindy and son-in-law Jerry in Fort Smith, and served as a joyful and heartfelt tribute to a woman whose life has been a shining example of love, strength and grace.
Born April 17, 1935, in Paw Paw, Sequoyah County, Rogers has lived a life full of purpose and deep-rooted family values. Her daughters, Cindy Crawford and Melody Rogers Miner, and their families lovingly planned the celebration to honor the remarkable woman they call Mama and GranB.
The home was filled with laughter, warm embraces and the smell of delicious home cooking, just the way GranB would want it. Family photos and plants brightened the space, and guests shared stories and tributes throughout the afternoon, celebrating a woman whose kindness and wisdom have left a lasting legacy. Her five grandchildren, Nick (Jenni) Crawford, Mitt (Heather) Marshall, Chris (Lora) Turner, Miles Crawford, and Alex (Camie) Marshall, were present to honor their beloved GranB, along with seven great-grandchildren. Their heartfelt words and presence were a testament to the deep love and respect she has inspired across generations.
Her brother, Allen Fletcher, as well as nieces and nephews, Madelyn (Stan), their son Jay Flenor, Madison Daily, and Jacinta (Lance) Yoakum, joined the celebration. Their presence made the day even more meaningful, representing the extended family that GranB has always cherished.
Seated among her loved ones, Rogers glowed with gratitude. When asked about the secret to a happy life, she smiled and said, “Trust in the Lord, love your family, and be thankful every day.”
More than just a birthday party, the day was a celebration of nine decades of love, resilience and a life welllived. Here’s to Bonnie Rogers, GranB, 90 years young, deeply cherished and forever inspiring.
