The Sequoyah County Commissioners at their weekly Monday meeting on May 26 approved appointments of:

• Julia McGhee and Kelly Martin as requisitioning officers effective July 1 for Sequoyah County Health Department

• Jennifer Wiley and Christina Gaytan as receiving officers effective July 1 for Sequoyah County Health Department

• Dean Miller as tax board representative and Jess Hembree as an alternate for Rural Fire Protection District 1

• Julie Haywood and Dean Miller as requisition agents for Rural Fire Protection District 1

• Heath Orabanec and Rex Huffman as receiving agents for Rural Fire Protection District 1

The commissioners also approved the transfer of appropriations from:

• Emergency Management travel to Emergency Management maintenance and operations in the amount of $300

• Public Health maintenance and operations to Public Health revaluation in the amount of $13,000

• General Government personal service to Court Clerk personal service in the amount of $5,200.
