A homeless woman who reportedly exposed herself to others at Moffett School is scheduled to go before a judge Wednesday in Sequoyah County District Court.
Destiny M. Seladones, 27, was charged with indecent exposure and public intoxication on April 29 and is set to appear before Associate District Judge Kyle Waters for a 9 a.m. felony disposition docket, according to court records.
Sequoyah County Sheriff ’s deputy Jeremy Walters reported on the afternoon of April 23, he was contacted by an administrator with Moffett School who stated there was a female on school grounds acting erractically.
The school administrator said when he confronted the woman and told her to get off school grounds, she took off walking down old Hwy. 64.
The administrator said she was then almost struck by two vehicles while reportedly “swinging her top around.” At that time, she was topless and exposing her breasts, while banging on doors, according to the probable cause affidavit filed in the case.
Walters made contact with the woman and when he asked for her name, she told him that she “had not made a name yet.” The woman then identified herself as Saldones.
The deputy stated that he believed Saldones might be under the influence of an intoxicant and asked if she’d done any illegal drugs.
Saldones reportedly admitted to doing drugs the night before, according to the affidavit.
District Attorney Jack Thorp said felony indecent exposure is punishable by imprisonment up to 10 years or a fine of up to $20,000, or both, if convicted.
