Funeral services for Don Davis, 70, formerly of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, 2025, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial followed at Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mr. Davis was born on March 8, 1954, in Sallisaw, to Flora Marie (Allen) Davis and Ernest Davis. He passed away on Friday, Feb. 14, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas.
He worked as a respiratory therapist and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed golfing and floating down rivers, and gatherings with family and friends.
Survivors are a daughter, Jennifer Davis and boyfriend Jason Bledsoe of Sallisaw; three sons, Michael Davis and Vanessa of Arkansas, Derrick Davis of Siloam Springs, Ark., and Zachary Davis of Nacogdoches, Texas; seven grandchildren; one greatgrandchild; two sisters, Carol Ulmer of Fort Worth, Texas and Alta Mae Harp of Sallisaw; brother, Bobby Davis of Fort Worth; another family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; niece, Michelle Johnson; nephew, Jeffrey McGee; brotherin- law, Jerry Ulmer; and sister-in-law, Pam Davis.
