Funeral services for Sandra Kay (Baylis) Smith, 78, of Muldrow, were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025, at Praise Temple Outreach Church in Muldrow. A private interment was held at Akins Cemetery under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mrs. Smith was born on June 23, 1946, in Decatur, Ill., to Don Baylis. She died on Monday, Jan. 6, 2025, in Muldrow.
She was a home health provider and of the Christian faith.
She married Hubert Dale Smith on June 16, 1976, in Joliet, Ill.
Survivors include her husband, Hubert Smith of the home; daughter, Samantha and Daniel Dotson of Muldrow; son, Tony Smith and Jackie Lewis of Muldrow; mother, Betty Baylis of Florida; two sisters, Jill and Roger Coleman and Tina Baylis, all of Florida; two brothers, Terry Baylis of Decatur, Ill., and George Baylis of Colorado; six grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father; and three brothers, Greg Baylis, Curt Baylis and Mark Baylis.
Pallbearers were Tony Smith, Tristen Smith, Rylee Smith, Ryker Smith, Carlin Mitchell and Buzz Smith.
