Funeral services for Louise Harvell, 88, of Muldrow, were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024 at Eastside Free Will Baptist Church in Muldrow. Burial followed at Upper Camp Creek Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mrs. Harvell was born on April 5, 1936, in Pittsburgh, Pa., to George Young and Christene (Meyer) Young. She died on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024, in Muldrow.
She was married to Kenneth Dale Harvell on Jan. 18, 1956, in Florida. He preceded her in death on March 11, 2023.
She was a seamstress. Survivors are one daughter, Amy Akins and Steve of Muldrow; five sons, Kevin Harvell and Jeanett of Muldrow, Grayson Harvell and Di of Norman, Scott Harvell and Susan Tolbert of Poteau, Barry Harvell and Lori Pence of Muldrow, and Lance Harvell and Rhonda of Muldrow; several grandchildren and step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Millie, Dottie and Babe; and several other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Myrtle and Pat.
Pallbearers were Kevin Harvell, Grayson Harvell, Scott Harvell, Barry Harvell, Lance Harvell and Steve Akins.
Honorary pallbearers were Dennis Day, Courtland Oliver and Perry Broyles.
