Funeral services for Wynona Fay Schreck Teague, 89, of Sallisaw, were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial followed at W.C. Teague Cemetery north of Sallisaw under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mrs. Teague was born on May 13, 1935, in Canute, to Andrew Frank and Elizabeth Schones Schreck. She died on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.
She was a home provider and homemaker, and of the Catholic faith.
Survivors are 10 children; one sister; 20 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Calvin Teague in 2003; a daughter, Sandy Teague Polasek; son-in-law Larry Long; two brothers, David Schreck and Garland Schreck; four sisters, Janelle Schreck White, Roma Lee Dean, Charolotte Howard of Mesquite, Texas, and Carolyn Crenwelge of Marlow; and her parents.
