Funeral services for Ethylee (Harvell) Farmer, 97, of Muldrow, were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow. Burial followed at Upper Camp Creek Cemetery in Muldrow under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
She was born on July 23, 1926, in Camp Creek community in Muldrow to Pearl May (Ruckman) Harvell and Horace Adolphus “Dink” Harvell. She died on Monday, May 20, 2024.
After graduating Muldrow High School, she went to work at Fort Smith Couch and Bedding, where she worked as a seamstress until 1968. She then bought her own upholstery sewing machine, and worked from home for many more years. She was a founding and faithful member of the Muldrow First Assembly of God Church.
She married Charles E. Farmer on May 10, 1946, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors are a daughter, Clovis Elaine and husband Steven Titus of Tulsa; two sons, Charles Randall Farmer and wife Robin and Tommy Kemp and wife Kim, all of Muldrow; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one sister-in-law, Louise Harvell; and many other family members and friends.
She was also preceded in death by five siblings, Wilma Edwards, Delmer (Bee) Harvell, Charlene Howard, Kenneth Dale Harvell and Jaunell Harvell Gillespie.
Active pallbearers were Scott Harvell, Kevin Harvell, Barry Harvell, Lance Harvell, Grayson Harvell, Darrell Edwards, Mike Howard and Clark Harvell.
Honorary pallbearer was Eddie George.
