Funeral services for Paul W. Sharp, Jr., 75, of Muldrow, were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Church of Nazarene in Muldrow. Burial followed at Blackjack Cemetery in Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mr. Sharp was born on Oct. 26, 1948, in Muldrow, to Minnie Ellen (Gipson) Sharp and Paul Walker Sharp. He died on Friday, May 10, 2024, in Muldrow.
He was married to Netta Faye VanZandt on Sept. 20, 1965, in Muldrow.
He was a Master Electrician for Rheem, starting in 1971 and retiring in 2004.
Survivors are wife, of the home; three daughters, Marian D. Gilmore and Robert of Fort Smith, Ark., Elizabeth P. Tate and Gary of Muldrow and Nita L. Hatfield of Muldrow; one son, Warren L. Sharp of Muldrow; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Mildred Marr and Ronnie of Muldrow; brother, Kenny Sharp and Diane of Muldrow; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Fannie Riggs, Nadine McGehee and Anna Marie Crow-Jones; and two brothers, Johnny and Jim Sharp.
Pallbearers were Bill Cooper, Stacy Pipkins, Gary Mouse, Brandon Sharp, Ken Sharp and Brien Sharp.
Honorary pallbearers were Kenny Hicks and Howard Edwards.
