Graveside services for Shelly Renea Dawson, 48, of Fort Smith, Ark., were held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2024, at Larid Cemetery in Pocola under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
She was born on Sept. 10, 1975, in Seminole, Texas, to Jimmy Dawson and Linda Louise (Sharp) Spencer. She died on Sunday, April 28, 2024, in Odessa, Texas.
She was a homemaker. Survivors include two daughters, Heather and Daniel Whitus of Muldrow and Brittany and Aaron Iglesias of Midland, Texas; three sons, A.J. Cook, Derrick and Jennifer Cook and Cameron Cook all of Midland; one sister, Rhonda Melton of Fort Smith, Ark.; 11 grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Shonda Dawson and Rebecca Dawson.
