Clara “Tuddie” Hayes, 89, of Roland, died on Monday, April 29, 2024, in Roland. She was born on Aug. 12, 1934, in Scott Depot, W.V., to Jennings Hobert Boggess and Floris Launa (Pickens) Boggess.
No formal service is planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.
She married Alfred Leroy Hayes on April 21, 1951, in Fort Smith, Ark.
Survivors include one daughter, Lynnie and Mark Lawrence of Palmdale, Calif.; two sons, Steven and Lori Hayes of Chino Valley, Ariz., and Joel Hayes of Roland; two sisters, Dreama Dreger of Board Camp, Ark., and Ethel Stidman of San Angelo, Texas; four grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sons, Tony, Roy and Richard Hayes; three sisters, Mary Nicklaus, Naomi Durrence and Vada Egger; and two brothers, Jennings and David Boggess.
