Funeral services for Talitha (Bethel) “Dale” Daily, 94, of Muldrow, were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Trinity Methodist Church in Muldrow.
Burial followed at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark., under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mrs. Daily was born on Feb. 28, 1930, in Gans, to Beulah Lea (Pemberton) Bethel and Louie Lawton Bethel. She died on Thursday, April 4, 2024, in Inola.
She was married to Dick M. Daily on Nov. 24, 1948, in Van Buren, Ark. He preceded her in death on April 19, 2005.
She was a homemaker, an avid cook, bookkeeper and member of Trinity Methodist Church in Muldrow. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and a Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 75 years. She was an active citizen of the Cherokee Nation and enjoyed boating, fishing and other hobbies, including being a pilot and archery.
Survivors are two sons, Larry Madison Daily and Kathy of Inola and Lawton “Kenny” Daily and Kathy of Tulsa; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Naomi Ruth Shedrow and Anna Shackelford.
Pallbearers were Ken Daily, Clark Daily, Clayton Daily, Brandon Hart, Larry Daily and Scott Daily.
