Gwendolyn Johnson

Aug. 24, 1941 – March 13, 2024

A Celebration of Life service for Gwendolyn Johnson, 82, was held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2024, at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood, Ark.

Burial was at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Johnson was born on Aug. 24, 1941, to Roland J. and Lillian L. Charlton. She died on Wednesday, March 13, 2024.

She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother, wife and friend. She enjoyed playing cards and cooking.

Survivors include her sons, Lonnie and Vickie Johnson of Greenwood and Todd and Renee Johnson of Hackett, Ark.; siblings, Sharon Gebo, Janice Raso and Roland Charlton; and several grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by Thomas Charlton, Vernon Charlton, Carl Charlton, Delores Currier and Bonnie Scott.

Pallbearers were Jeremy Johnson, Braden Johnson, Nathan Johnson, Brian Winfree, Gray Stell and Todd Johnson.
