Victor Ruben Pinkerton, 60, of Cedarville, Ark., died on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024, in Van Buren, Ark. He was born on July 25, 1963 in Van Buren to Tom and Carmen (McKinnon) Pinkerton, Jr.
He was a custodian for the Van Buren School District for 38 years, a local race car driver at Crawford County Speedway, and was in the Top 5 for 30 years of his 41 years of racing. He also spent time at Tri-State Speedway.
Survivors are his wife, Robin Pinkerton of the home; twin sister, Virginia Pinkerton of Lavaca, Ark.; two brothers, Tommy Pinkerton of Cedarville and Shaun Pinkerton and wife Debbie of Cedarville; aunts and uncles, Teresa and Danny Hoover of Muldrow and Elbert and Patsy McKinnon of Santa Ana, Calif.; and several other family members and friends.
Burial was at Uniontown Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.
