June 23, 1954 – Feb. 5, 2024

Memorial services for J.R. Hardwick, 69, of Muldrow, were held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024, at the Agent & Mallory-Martin Chapel in Muldrow.

Cremation was under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

Mr. Hardwick was born on June 23, 1954, in Sallisaw to Lloyd Everett Hardwick and Wanda (Dyer) Eads. He died on Monday, Feb. 5, 2024, in Muldrow.

He was an automotive transmission builder and of the Baptist faith. He liked Harley Davidson motorcycles, old hot rods, camping and going to the lake.

He married Liz Jordan on April 8, 1991, in Las Vegas.

Survivors include his wife, Liz of the home; sons, Rick Hardwick of Alex, Jordan Hardwick of Roland and Trey Hardwick of Muldrow; one daughter, Lisa Hardwick of Hackett, Ark.; his mother, of Redland; several grandchildren; and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; one daughter, Carey Jeremiah; and one sister, Lawanna Ireland.
