Memorial services for Linda Kay (Emerson) McCaslin, 73 of Muldrow, will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow.
Mrs. McCaslin was born on Sept. 21, 1950, in Chickasha, to Ila Faye (Garrison) Emerson and Carl William Emerson. She died on Sunday, Dec. 31, 2023, in Fort Smith, Ark.
She was a retired nurse, who spent much of her free time on horseback, riding on the trails of Arkansas and Oklahoma. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends she’d acquired from years of nursing and riding horses.
Survivors are a son, Shane Stroud and Nikki of Pottsville, Ark.; three grandchildren; three sisters, Helen Hicks and Bill of Cameron, Norma McGuire and Scott of Winslow, Ark. and Carla Waterson and Rodney of West Fork, Ark.; and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Ahimsa Rescue Foundation in Muldrow.
