Sallisaw – Memorial services for Nancy Elizabeth Hubbard, 69, of Sallisaw, were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 13, 2023, at Oktaha High School Gymnasium. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Mrs. Hubbard was born on Oct. 1, 1954, in Puerto Rico to Jane Ann (Collins) Decker and Robert Francis Decker. She died on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023, in Sallisaw.

She married Don Kendall Hubbard on Dec. 18, 1976.

She was a hairdresser for many years before taking a position as administrative assistant to the principal at Oktaha Public Schools. She was also a cheer coach while working at Oktaha.

Survivors are her children, Kristi L. Breshears and Trent of Fountain Hills, Ariz., Abby D. Wiseley of Tulsa, John D. Hubbard and Trisha of Tulsa, Julie R. Peraza and Armando of Van Buren, Ark., and Matthew J. Hubbard and Rayna of Stigler; numerous grandchildren; brothers, David Decker and Tami of Edmond and Robin Decker of Kansas City, Mo.; and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Donnie.

Honorary pallbearers were staff members of Oktaha Public Schools, team members and coaches of her children and grandchildren, cheerleaders she had the privilege to coach, and everyone who called her “part of their family.”
