Funeral services for Carolyn Raedean Sanders, 51, were held at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6, 2023, at the Lovely Lane Chapel in Saint Simons Island, Ga.
She was born on Sept. 15, 1972, in Fort Smith, Ark., and died on Oct. 31, 2023.
Carolyn joined the U.S. Army as a O5H, Electronic Warfare Signal Intelligence Morse Interceptor. She then worked with the Department of Homeland Security; Transportation Security Administration as an inspector in Fort Smith. From there, Carolyn joined Department of Homeland Security/Immigration and Customs Enforcement/Enforcement and Removal Office as a Deportation Officer.
Survivors are her sons, Chantz and Dean; father, Robert Sanders; brother, Jimmy Sanders; sister, Lisa Sanders; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother; and stepmother.
