Gans – Funeral services for Clydia Drywater, 91, of Gans, were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023, at the Agent & Mallory-Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial was at Gans Cemetery under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mrs. Drywater was born on Aug. 3, 1932, in Porter to Clyde Haskell Ree and Willie Etta (Kilgore) Mankiller. She died on Monday, Oct. 23, 2023, in Broken Arrow.
She was a certified nursing assistant and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed cooking, collecting recipes and singing. She was a member of Gans Bible Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Jean and Dick Wagner of Broken Arrow; one son, Jess Drywater of Sallisaw; one sister, Jackie Collins of Gans; four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Mike Drywater; and three brothers, Dale Ree, Carl Ree and Bill Ree.
Pallbearers were Randy Scott, Michael Collins, Tommy Victory, Darryl Hammer, Tim Carter and Keith Shevlin.
