Roland – Graveside service for Norma Jewell (Mobley) Wilson, 94, of Roland, Okla. will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2023, at Roland City Cemetery in Roland, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
She was born on Sept. 4, 1929, in Sallisaw, Okla. to Hettie Matilda (Havener) Mobley and Thomas Flemins Mobley and passed away on Sept. 23, 2023, in Fort Smith, Ark.
She was married to R.B. Wilson on June 24, 1950 in Van Buren, Ark. He preceded her in death on Sept. 2, 1989.
Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ faith.
Survivors are two daughters, Carol Ann Dieter of Muldrow, Okla. and Sharon Wilson of Roland; one son, Ronald Gene “Ronnie” Wilson and Dorothy of Liberty community, Okla.; nine grandchildren, Daniel Dieter and Christie, Thomas Dieter and Amanda, Josh Wilson and Nisha, Jill Russell and Steve, Ronnie Charles Wilson and Casey, Isaac Herron and Vicki, Stanley Herron, Dustin Herron and Kyle Herron; several great-grandchildren; one niece, Shirley Haile of Broken Arrow, Okla.; and several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband; one daughter, Sandra Annette Taylor; her parents; three brothers, Truman, Orville and Thomas Mobley; and two sisters, Leo Kennedy and Imogene McConnell.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Dean, Roger Dean, Jerry Herron, Randy Wilson, Stanley Herron and Dustin Herron.
Viewing will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, where the family will greet from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
