Mrs. Armer was born on June 18, 1938, in PawPaw to James Mirl Edwards and Ruth Alice (Maloney) Edwards. She died on Monday, Sept. 11, 2023, in Muldrow.
She was of the Baptist faith. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She married Doyle J. Armer on Sept. 26, 1955. Survivors include her husband, Doyle; children, Kim Armer, Darrel (Eddie) and Wanda Armer, Dennis and Julie Armer and Joy and Steve Green; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; six sisters; five brothers; and one son, Chris Armer.
Pallbearers were Jared Armer, Jason Armer, Jeremy Armer, Matt Armer, Brett Armer and Adam Armer.
Muldrow – Funeral services for Oma Fay (Edwards) Armer, 85, of Muldrow, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023, at Fellowship Baptist Church in Nicut with Pastor Ed Baker officiating. Burial was at Seabolt Cemetery under the direction of Forever Memories Funeral Services.
