Mrs. Lackey was born on June 3, 1941, in Henryetta to Kenneth and Lillian (Fields) Cowart. She died on Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2023, in Roland.
She was a homemaker. Survivors include her children, Jeannie and Jimmy Mar, Timothy Lackey and Ron Lackey; siblings, Kenneth Butch Cowart, Leroy and Pamela Cowart, Judy Cowart, Patsy Carlton and Gayla Moore; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; children, Joyce (Lackey) Dotson and David Lackey; siblings, Helen and Raymond Dearman, Juanita and Dale Sutton, Peggy and Charles Danny Vastine, Bertha Cowart and Alvin Moore; and a grandchild.
Roland – Funeral services for Geraldine Bernice (Cowart) Lackey, 82, of Roland, were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023, at Vian First Baptist Church. Burial was at Box Cemetery in Vian under the direction of Forever Memories Funeral Services.
