The Bulldogs lost to Vian in the consolation semifinals of the Checotah Crossroads Classic on Friday inside Truman Dixon Fieldhouse after falling to Class 4A No. 15 Wagoner in their tournament opener on Thursday inside the Event Center.
Vian 50, Muldrow 33

The Bulldogs trailed the Wolverines 28-21 at the half after scoring nine unanswered points to end the second stanza but Vian held off Muldrow in the second two periods to claim the win in the consolation semifinals on Friday.
Lawson Daugherty totaled four points for Muldrow in the first quarter but Emmitt Staley made three 3-pointers and Joe Glass and Xavin Lackey added three points apiece as Vian built a 19-6 lead.
The Wolverines led 28-12 with 5:25 remaining in the second period before Muldrow scored the final nine points on Rylan Walters’ steal and layup, Hunter Breedlove’s wing 3 and Daugherty’s two 2-point field goals.
Michael Cruise and Watie Byrd scored three points apiece for Muldrow in the third stanza while Staley and Lackey recorded six points apiece for the Wolverines, who led 42-29 after adding six points (14-8) to their advantage.
Jacob Claborn hit a 3-pointer for the Bulldogs in the final eight minutes and Ben Spyres registered three points for Vian, which outscored Muldrow 8-4.
Scoring for Muldrow in the contest were Daugherty (10), Cruise
(6), Claborn (5), Breed-love and Byrd (4 each) and Jackson Keith and Walters (2 apiece).
Scoring for Vian were Staley (15), Lackey (14), Javyn Wright (8), Glass
(7) and Iman Harrison and Spyres (3 each).
Wagoner 62, Muldrow 32

Muldrow started tournament play on Thursday inside the Checotah Event Center with a loss to Class 4A No. 15 Wagoner.
In the first quarter Jackson Keith recorded four points for Muldrow but four points apiece by Ashton Bartholomew and Sawyer Jones helped Wagoner take a 14-6 advantage.
Michael Cruise and Keith registered three points apiece in the second stanza while Jack Southern led Wagoner with seven. Wagoner led 32-14 at the half after outscoring Muldrow 18-8.
Hunter Breedlove and Lawson Daugherty provided Muldrow’s scoring in the third frame with a 2-point field goal apiece and Kam Kimball totaled six points for Wagoner.
In the final eight minutes Jacob Claborn and Breedlove each registered three points for Muldrow and Chase Nanni and Matt Gaither recorded six each for Wagoner.
Scoring for Muldrow in the contest were Keith (9), Daugherty (6), Cruise and Breedlove (5 each), Claborn (3) and Watie Byrd and Colby Armer (2 apiece).
Scoring for Wagoner were Bartholomew and Jones (10 each), Southern and Kimball (8 apiece), Nanni and Gaither (6 each), Jaevon Roberson (5), Chris Coulter (4), Drew Mills
