HEAVENER — The Roland High School track teams had a few members place in the Heavener Invitational, which took place March 31 at Harvey Stadium.
Roland Lady Rangers senior runner and future University of Arkansas-Fort Smith Lion Molly Carver placed in three events to score the team’s 17 points.
Carver was runnerup in the 1,600-meter run (6:09.87) and the 3,200-meter run (13:34.31), while coming in sixth in the 800-meter run (2:46.69).
The Rangers got their eight points compliments of their 400-meter relay team of Raidyn Knight, Damonte “Bubba” Owens, Isaiah Brown and Phoenix Miller, which finished fourth with a time of 45.97 seconds.
The Roland track teams will return to action at the Porter Consolidated Invitational, which will begin at 10 a.m. next Wednesday.
