Promise Made

“For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” (Isa. 9:6) “And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. (Luke 1:30-34) Why did God see the need to send The Messiah? Remember the Garden! Man disobeyed God. You and I were there. We inherited the sin nature! We needed a Savior and God has provided the one and only way to be forgiven and return to fellowship with Him. It is only in His Only Son Jesus Christ. Man continues to look for other ways, but there are none! (John 3:16-21; Jn 14:6)

Promise Fulfilled

“And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” Luke 2:7-14 It happened just like He said! We can be forgiven of sin and have fellowship with the True and Only Living God! What a love He has shown us, but many are ignoring His gift of life.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:16-18) Jesus came, lived a perfect life, died on the cross that we might have life. Have you received Him? When you believe in Him, placing your faith in all He did, you can be forgiven, receive eternal life. The Cross gives us forgiveness of sin, the Resurrection gives us eternal life, the Ascension gives us the Hope in His return for us.

This is the day to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior. Tomorrow may be too late. The ways things are moving, He will be coming soon. You have the free will to choose or reject Him. Accept Him is life, reject Him is death! God keeps all His promises!!! That includes judgment!

All disobeyed God, He judged us, made a way to be forgiven, Unbeliever. do not be so hard and unbelieving that you end up at the Great White Throne Judgment, it will be too late then. I invite you to join me and walk with me into eternity!

This is a beautiful time to be alive, a time to be a true witness for the salvation that God has provided. Let us be living and talking about what He has done. This is the Season to open up and let Jesus be seen and heard in our lives.
