Muldrow track athlete wins high jump event at Catoosa

CATOOSA — Muldrow Bulldogs track athlete Teaguen Collins claimed gold in the high jump at Thursday’s Catoosa Invitational. He jumped 5-10, beating host Catoosa’s Jacy Richardson by two inches.

Collins was third in the 100-meter dash (11.71 seconds), fourth in the long jump (198.75) and sixth in the 400-meter dash (53.56) for the ’Dogs, who finished 10th in the team standings with 25 points.

Another Bulldog helped the team get points as Mark Gleason was fourth in the shot put (40-11), while he was 20th in the discus (95-11).

Three Muldrow girls scored points for the Lady Bulldogs, who finished 14th in team standings with seven points. Jensi Fields was fourth (98-8) and Maysi Fields was sixth (95-8) in the discus, while Chloee Clark was fifth in the long jump (15-1.5).

As for other Bulldogs, Kendal Howell was 11th in the 3,200-meter run (12:41.85), David Keenan was 13th (2:20.61) and Luke Stevenson was 31st (2:36.96) in the 800-meter run, Stevenson was 18th in the long jump (16-8.5), Howell was 24th (6:03.14) and Parker McLane was 28th (6:21.08) in the 1,600-meter run, Gabe Smalley was 30th in the 100-meter dash (13.15 seconds) and 31st in the 200-meter dash (26.9), Stevenson was 34th in the 400-meter dash (1:04.91).

As for other Lady Bulldogs, Emma Fields was 11th (15:21.24), Genna Stephenson was 12th (15:32.61) and Isabelle Rogers was 15th (18:08.9) in the 3,200-meter run, London Hardin was 12th (14.57 seconds) and Clark was 14th (14.65) in the 100-meter dash, Gracie Prewett was 12th in the long jump (1310.25), Clark was 14th in the 200-meter dash (29.18), Tiphany Martinez was 14th (2:52.41) and Prewett was 28th (3:15.84) in the 800-meter run, Maysi Fields was 16th in the shot put (250.5), Martinez was 18th (1:13.4) and Landy Pacheco was 21st (1:15.69) in the 400-meter dash, Stephenson was 19th (7:06.49) and Rogers was 23rd (7:59.48) in the 1,600-meter run.
