Lillian Pearl Ettredge Covington

Dec. 17, 1940 – March 24, 2025

Lillian Pearl (Ettredge) Covington, 84, of Muldrow, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025, in Muldrow. She was born on Dec. 17, 1940, in Galveston, Texas, to Anthony Ettredge and Marie (Zipprian) Ettredge.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

She was a graduate of Texas City High School. She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting, ceramics, crochet and cooking.

She married Jessie Ray Covington on Jan. 15, 1971. He precedes her in death.

Survivors are her brothers, Richard and Jane Ettredge and Pat and Judy McGrory, all of Georgetown, Texas, Mark and Brenda Ettredge of Trussville, Ala., Mike and Barbara Ettredge of Pilot Point, Texas, and Blake and Michelle Ettredge of Whitesboro, Texas; sister, Debbie and Wayne Wells of McKinney, Texas; daughters, Melissa and David Maio of Elgin, Texas and Lillian McClurg of Muldrow; sons, Jessie Covington Jr. and Stephanie of Temple, Ga., Craig and Kim Covington of Santa Fe, Texas, Bruce and Gina Covington of Texas City, Texas, Steve and Lisa Covington of Palestine, Texas, and Clayton and Kristy Williams of Midland, Texas; 15 grandchildren; and other family members and friends.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Marie Ettredge and Betty Ettredge; brother, Charles Ettredge; daughter, Shela Brewster; and a grandson.
