The Gans Lady Grizzlies suffered a 15-3, five-inning home loss to the Gore Lady Pirates on March 31.

After the Lady Grizzlies (3-7) scored twice in the fourth inning to cut their deficit to 7-3 after four innings, the Lady Pirates scored eight runs in the fifth inning to put the game into run-rule status.

In defeat, Gabbie Price was 2-for-3 with a double, while Maddie Freeman was 2-for-2 with a triple, two runs scored and an RBI for the Lady Grizzlies, who will make up the doubleheader with Indianola that was rained out the week before at 4:30 p.m. Thursday. Destiny Phillips (2-5) took the loss.
