Local Powerlifters Place in McAlester Invitational

McALESTER — Four local high school powerlifters placed in Friday’s McAlester Invitational.

Three of those placers were Muldrow Bulldogs as Gabriel Smalley was third at 145 pounds, Alejandro Santacruz was fourth at 198 and David Keenan was fifth at 123.

Gans Grizzly powerlifter Anthony Vasquez was seventh at 198.

The Bulldogs will compete in the Checotah Invitational on Wednesday, while Vasquez will be idle until competing in the 8-Man State Meet next Wednesday at Shawnee.
