Cremation service for Ricky L. Jones, 68, of Sallisaw, was under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Mr. Jones was born on Feb. 4, 1956, in Sallisaw to Helen (Long) Plank and Herbert Jones. He died on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, in Tulsa.
He was a 1974 graduate of Sallisaw High School and was employed at Whirlpool for 35 years. He enjoyed rodeos, gardening and traveling.
Survivors are his mother, of the home; three sisters, Angela Andrews and husband Stephen of Muldrow, Terri Byrom of Sallisaw, and Lisa Basore of Skiatook; one brother, Ron Jones and partner Kym Peterson of Gans; one uncle, Junior “Peanut” Long; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; and his grandparents, Arthur and Cora Long and Walter and Goldie Jones.
