Police arrest two in investigation of bomb threats
At Roland Public Schools
By AMIE CATO-REMER EDITOR

In a significant development regarding the recent bomb threats that disrupted Roland Public Schools, local law enforcement has announced the arrest of two individuals as part of an ongoing investigation, according to a press release issued on Nov. 1.

The arrests come as a direct response to a series of alarming threats that have raised concerns among parents and community members. The Roland Police Department reiterated their collaboration with various law enforcement agencies and the school administration to ensure a swift and thorough investigation.

An initial reward of $5,000 was issued by the department for information leading to the arrest and conviction of any involved parties. Soon after, the community rallied to- gether, raising that reward to $15,000.

“While we cannot disclose the identities of those arrested at this time to protect the integrity of the investigation, we want to assure the community that we are taking this matter seriously,” the statement read. “Our priority remains the safety and security of our schools.”

The police department has urged residents to remain vigilant and report any information that may aid in the investigation, hinting at the possibility of additional arrests in the near future.

Community members have expressed relief at the swift action taken by law enforcement, with many hoping that these measures will restore a sense of security in the schools. As the investigation continues, further updates are expected from the police department.

In the meantime, the Roland Police Department has extended its gratitude to all agencies involved and to the school administration for their dedication to resolving the situation effectively.

If you have information, contact the department at 918-427-3252.
